Questions?
We keep answers short.
Most questions about HubSpot discovery, blueprints and runbooks are answered below. For anything else — including HubSpot service engagements — send a request and a human replies.
How long does the HubSpot discovery interview take?
Typically 40–60 exchanges. Done in one sitting that's roughly 60–90 minutes, but you can pause anytime — the session checkpoints itself and resumes exactly where you left off.
Do I need to know HubSpot to answer the questions?
No. The interview asks about your business, not about HubSpot. Where a HubSpot concept is unavoidable, it comes with a plain-language explainer, and multiple-choice options appear whenever the answer has discrete choices.
What if I can't answer a question mid-interview?
Tap I don't have this information and the interview parks it as an open item and moves on. Before your ICP is written, every open item comes back — Answer them now, or Finish discovery later. The workspace shows an N open badge so you can resume. Sensitive figures (revenue, margins, volumes, pricing) are optional: tap Use an example figure and a labelled sample is used instead, listed in the ICP so you can swap it after download. Nothing silently disappears into the architecture.
What happens when I mention a tool in the interview?
Tools you name are looked up live against the HubSpot Marketplace. Tap the marketplace icon in the chat to open a card showing whether the integration is Native, Data Sync, Middleware or Custom, plus certified status and a marketplace link — so the architecture is grounded in what actually exists, not a generic connector guess. You can also paste a URL to research your public site, or upload PDF, CSV, TXT or MD files before you start.
How current is the HubSpot knowledge behind the documents?
The AI works against a full index of the HubSpot knowledge base, developer documentation and the last year of release notes, refreshed weekly. Tier gates and product changes supersede older documentation automatically, and beta features are labelled as beta.
Scope changed after my blueprint was delivered. Do I start over?
No. Open AI Refine on the document and say what changed — a HubSpot tier, a rewrite of the architecture, or a specific decision. The document is regenerated from those instructions. History is preserved, and a backup is written first.
Is the free tier actually free?
Yes — the full HubSpot discovery interview and the complete 14-section ICP, no credit card. Payment only enters when you order a HubSpot blueprint ($850), Blueprint + Runbook ($2,100), or an add-on. The HubSpot runbook is not sold on its own.
Can I buy just the runbook?
No. The HubSpot runbook is generated from your HubSpot blueprint, so it is never sold without one. Take Blueprint + Runbook together, or add the runbook after that engagement already has a blueprint.
How do payments work?
Checkout is handled by Stripe. One-time documents are charged once per engagement; Partner Access ($1,000/mo) is a monthly subscription you can manage from your workspace billing portal.
Where is my data hosted, and who can read it?
Hosting is in Germany under GDPR. Project vaults are encrypted client-side with AES-256 — the password never leaves your browser, so we cannot open your vault. Your data is never used to train AI models. The full picture is in the Privacy Policy.
Can I delete my data?
Yes — discoveries and documents can be deleted from the workspace, and you can request full account deletion by email. Encrypted vault contents are unrecoverable without your password by design.
How does white-label HubSpot client discovery work?
You send your client a share link — optionally on your own custom domain with your logo and colors. The client answers at their own pace behind a passcode; the page carries no klaryn.ai branding anywhere, including view-source. Their answers land in your workspace.
How do custom domains work, and how many do I get?
Self-serve from Client Branding: add your hostname, point a CNAME at us, verify — a TLS certificate is issued automatically on first request. Up to 3 custom domains per account.
Can my client see or edit the documents?
You decide. Share links are read-only for clients; the documents belong to your workspace. Many agencies export the Markdown into their own deliverable template.
